School closes at 11.30am on Thursday 29 April. There will be no dinners or school buses available. We reopen on 9 April. We hope you all have a holy, and enjoyable Easter break.
To celebrate Internet Safety Day this year we held a special assembly and each class did a number of activities with their teacher. Some children spoke at assembly about the importance of the internet and the problems we have with it.
As part of our on-going eco work in school we are adopting a red kite. We each chose a name for our new bird and the name was drawn from the hat by Mrs McLaughlin who is helping us organise this. Our Kite will be called ‘JOLLY!’
Primary 4 have sent their letters to Primary 4 Class in Our Lady Queen of Peace PS in Glenravel. Today they opened their first letter from their new penpals. Every year this brings so much excitement as they learn to read about their new friend and write about themselves.
